B18C1 - Looking for a clean Basetune/Possible Etune

Post by Thatb0iray88 »

Hey guys,

If possible as the title states I am looking for a clean basetune/possible E-tune.

My setup:

B16B Head
B18c1 w/Nippon Racing GSR 81MM P72 Pistons & Scat H-Beam Rods
550CC Deatschwerks Injectors
Hondata S300v2
Edelbrock Intake manifold
Ram Horn Turbo Manifold
Ebay GT3076R .63 AR
3" DP w/ no exhaust currently

I attached my current basetune. Any help regarding this would be greatly appreciated

I can help with an E tune. Can you provide datalogs with wideband data?

Heya,

I managed to record 2 driving sessions this morning about 5 - 10 minutes apart.

The second recording is longer than the 1st.

1st issue I definitely have is, when just pulling out of my parking spot the car is bouncing off and on in a jerking motion. but once I get started driving it acts normal.

Thank you

Sounds good. I will look over the logs and get back to you.

Double check your wideband connection. I do not see it populating data in the datalog. Is the wideband functioning and fluctuating while at idle and normal driving?

Yes it's functioning and fluctuating properly, I'm not sure why I am just now seeing your reply. Some reason I didn't get a notification

What pin is it using on the ecu to connect it to the Hondata?

I'm not sure what the # pin it is but I have pics that may help.
The white/red one is the one that goes to the afr gauge

Look up the pin out and see if it is connected to a pin required by Hondata.

D14 should not be used for a wideband input as it cannot see the full voltage range. Use one of the other inputs instead such as ELD.

I rewired the aem afr to D10 ELD & also changed the hondata to read from D10 as well.

I attached 3 different datalogs, Hopefully these look okay. sorry for the late reply, I was dealing with a crank no start situation most of the day just to discover that the plugs had oil on them so I had to change them out and it started up like new... long day...

I am now able to see the wideband data in the datalog.
It seems to be running Rich at idle and need some fuel before boost. Did you decided if you needed something to get you to a tuner or did you need a full ETune?

I managed to haul the Integra to a tuner shop about 20 minutes from me. I found out that my rebuilt distributor isn't any good and would cause my car to die when going into vtec.

I managed to grab a 99 si distributor for $93 bucks off of Facebook marketplace a few days ago, so I'm just waiting on the odb2 to odb1 distributor adapter tomorrow and tuning will continue some time next week.

I only have 550cc injectors atm and will be upgrading within the next two weeks to 750 or 1000cc so I'm interested in doing etuning once they arrive. I'll keep you posted.
