Engine cutting during boost

Post by Scott Pops »

I am having an issue with the engine cutting during boost. It does not do it at lower boost settings around 5 psi, but if I turn it up to 8-10 psi, it will do it consistently. From what I can tell, it is not lean protection activating because I don't think I am near the lean threshold (runs 11-12 A/F, lean protection set above 13 A/F for more than a half second). On the attached datalog, the event is from 4:20 to about 4:25. Third gear pull, slowly easing to full throttle, then it just dies/cuts out.

You appear to be hitting a boost cut. Try raising the hot boost cut to 11 psi.
