Speed

Post by Bones126 »

Hi, does the Euro FN2 get its speed direct from the sensor or the ECU?

Is there a basic explanation for between ECU and Dash adjustment setting? I have changed the Final Drive and adjusted the dash setting only to read correct but interested to why there is also ECU adjustment

Thanks

Hi,

It wasn't no, it was reading slower. I have since posting made the positive % increase and matched it to GPS speed. I did this using the Hondata app and taking the speed from the Sensors List and matching it to my GPS speed, is this correct way? The same as the dash.
Although the ECU % is +15 & the dash % is +9. Is this common?

thank you for your help.

If the ECU speed and dash speed both are the same as the actual speed then your job is done.

If u have matched it to gps speed be careful of speed camera dash speed is usually a few miles higher than actual for this factor
