Warm/hot start issue

Post by dfw »

I am having warm/hot start issues where the car wants to die (did a couple times) and goes real lean (gauge maxes out) ever since it has been 80-100+ temps out. It does this for about 30 seconds, then idles normal. Cold starts are prefect.

Attached a datalog also.

I searched and someone mentioned to start by adjusting the last 3 columns on the table under the "water temp fuel compensation cracking"

Example:

Is this the correct steps to take?

I would adjust the Air temperature fuel compensation cranking first. The hot weather affects that more than the ECT one.

How much should I be adding/subtracting at a time?
