RDX Reflash - Hondata + K&N Intake + ATLP Exhaust

Is it safe to run the Hondata ECU Reflash + K&N Typhoon Intake + ATLP Exhaust together? I recall the Hondata site saying not to run an intake and exhaust together with the reflash, but am having trouble finding this reference again. Any help you could offer would be great. Thanks in advance...

The exhaust is fine - the ECU will compensate via the AFM. However, the intake might be a problem. At the time we made the reflash no intake existed for the RDX, so we never tested any. From our experience with other Honda vehicles which use an AFM, after market intakes alter the airflow past the AFM enough to cause the air/fuel to be significantly different from stock. I would only use the intake after dynoing the vehicle with the intake to ensure the mixture was safe, especially under boost.
