Flashpro won't recognize my ECU after engine removal

Post by Devmail » Mon Oct 15, 2018 8:05 pm

Hello,

I have been using flashpro successfully for a few weeks. Then I removed my engine and now flashpro can't see the ECU. I can't flash my ecu back to stock to unlock the flashpro either. I tried updating flashpro manager and the sub drivers with no luck. It worked fine before I removed the Engine...please help. It did recognize that my battery was getting low so I recharged the car battery and it is still not working.

You will have to connect the grounds in the engine bay for it to see the ECU.

And hook up the grounds from the engine back to chassis, correct?

They must be grounded at the battery

Turns out it was my fuel pump relay. Interesting...
