Here's what I did (I have the CARB Flashpro so tuning options are limited). I basically increased the TC MAX Pressure at 2750 rpm and above by 7%. And I upped the torque limit by 25nm in the meat of the powerband (3000-5500)... Then I did a long datalog. This highest boost I saw was 23.3 psi when I floored it but mostly seeing more like 21+ psi with heavy throttle.
Datalog is here:
By the seat of the pants it feels a bit quicker but not drastic over the base +6. Do you think it's worth keeping these settings or am I better off with the base +6 from a durability standpoint? My knock control stayed at .54 most of the time. I use 93 octane.
One of the weird but noticeable differences is the throttle seems a bit less responsive on my tune. Below 2750 rpm, it feels about like before. Above 2750rpm the power is better than the base +6, but it feels like I need to press the throttle more to get it, if that makes sense. Maybe there are other adjustments I needed to make that I can't adjust on the CARB version?
Homemade +7.5 tune (CARB)
Re: Homemade +7.5 tune (CARB)
Driving it a bit more I really like the improvement. A bit more power and about the same MPG's as the +6 base tune. I think the throttle response difference I noted was just a placebo effect most likely.

Hi gtman, do you mind sharing your hondata map file? I wanna take a look at your boost tables and try it on my car. I have a 2018 Sport hatchback CVT.
