PLX narrowband simulation.
PLX narrowband simulation.
I have problems with car inspections "TÜV in German". I have install a PLX Wideband and it works fine but for the inspection it must be the original narrowband signal which will be read out from OBD2 Controller. Is it possible to leave PLX inside and simulate the narrowband signal?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: PLX narrowband simulation.
The PLX should be able to output a narrowband signal.
Re: PLX narrowband simulation.
OK.
But is my wiring right for this?
I have connect 0-5V analogue output from PLX to ECU like http://www.hondata.com/help/kmanager/analog_inputs.htm.
Lambda is working and I measure 2,3V at the PLX output. One thing irritates me. Why there is not a voltage signal at O2 sensor spent in the ECU? (only a frozen value 4,1V)?
For narrowband simulation do I connect the 0-1V PLX analogue output like wideband ?

Re: PLX narrowband simulation.
Yes the 0-1V is for narrowband simulation and must be connected.
Re: PLX narrowband simulation.
Just sounds.
And what about the frozen O2 value in sensor window. Is it normal? Where could I read out the actual Volt value?
Thanks

Re: PLX narrowband simulation.
How exactly do you have this connected to the ECU?
Re: PLX narrowband simulation.
At time I have output PLX 0-5V connection to ECU analog 0. There I have edit conversion row, as seen on Hondata K-Series ECU Help.http://www.hondata.com/help/kmanager/in ... inputs.htm.
Subsequently I have completion the input box "Details" as shown.
The only one different I see, in the example is each cylinder one analog input assigned. I have assigned the wideband on one analog input.

Re: PLX narrowband simulation.
The FlashPro does not have these options. I'm still not sure exactly how you have this connected.
Re: PLX narrowband simulation.
I will make some pictures as soon as possible that you see what I mean.
Re: PLX narrowband simulation.
Hi again,
I took some screenshots to show you how PLX and Hondata are connected and configured. At sensor picture you'll see at O2 a frozen value 4,06V.

Re: PLX narrowband simulation.
You do not have a FlashPro and this is posted in the wrong section. You have a K-Pro. If you want the narrowband signal you must input that into the ECU input for the stock narrowband input. You will not need any special settings in the software for this as it will be the correct 0-1v signal it is expecting.
Re: PLX narrowband simulation.
Excuse me for the mistake.
For wideband, Is this the right connection, or connect 0-5V to ELD pin?
Thanks

Re: PLX narrowband simulation.
Either way you connect it , it will be for datalogging only and the ECU will not be able to run closed loop from an aftermarket wideband using a K-Pro V3.
