Is the base calibration for the +6psi cvt (Canada) tuned for California 91 octane, which is 94 here and hard to find.
If this is the case is there a +6psi calibration that uses lower octane fuel?
I want to avoid engine knock!

The ECU adjusts timing fairly well and you can run a lower octane, but as far as I know Canada uses the same ron+mon/2 rating as the US. Check the pump or ask the oil company.
