Subaru Impreza 560cc High Impedance Injector for CRZ

Post by Matt Dex »

Hi guys,

I am planning to go with higher boost. I did upgrade my internal with a low comp forged piston and conrod. My current 310cc K20 injector may not be able to support the higher boost. I am trying to get a set of RDX injector but my mechanic suggest me to go with the impreza injector as it is easy to get in our place. With some mod on the socket it will works.

My question is, will it work? I don't see this injector in the hondata manager injector selection. Or I can just grab any injector input with closest flow. Please help. Thank You.

You will need to know the dead times for those injectors.

On this dead time. Do I have to do the test on the injector or i can get the figure from the factory data?

If you can find the data then use that.

This is what i found; dead time for the injector

10V - 1.23
11V - 1.04
12V - 0.87
13V - 0.74
14V - 0.62
15V - 0.53

How should I get the injector opening time from these figure?

Have you tried entering those values into the software?

Yes it is the same thing. You may want to read through the help file at: https://www.hondata.com/help/flashpro/f ... meters.htm

Thank You. Will try. Is it ok if i change the voltage value in the table? My current table are for 6v, 8v, 10v, 12v, 14v and 16v. But the data are from 10v to 15v. If the voltage is not a fixed value, then I will change the voltage and dead time value

Yes, you will need to enter the specific data for your injectors.
