Wiring up flex fuel sensor help
Wiring up flex fuel sensor help
So what exact "2.4 k ohm resistor" do i need, there is a lot of different watt rating one's. thanks!
Eg 800hp - Track car
Eg 580hp - daily

Re: Wiring up flex fuel sensor help
The wattage does not matter.
Re: Wiring up flex fuel sensor help
So I don't really understand exactly what the instructions are saying to do (wiring up wise). I attached a screens shot of what I try ed without luck.
V1 get me 0 volts to ecu
V2 gets me 10 volts to ecu
Right now I'm on pump gas, it's at e10

Re: Wiring up flex fuel sensor help
I see this is some sort of mspaint challenge.
You need to wire the resistor between the sensor out and vcc.

Re: Wiring up flex fuel sensor help
What version is this for? I have version 1 s300 and using zeitronix ethanol analyzer. I didn't need to wire in any resistor. I suppose the analyzer takes care of that.
Re: Wiring up flex fuel sensor help
This is for the s300v3, where the ethanol sensor is wired directly to the s300.
For earlier s300s you need a device to convert the ethanol sensor frequency to a voltage, like the zeitronix.
