the problem is the data logger connects for only a second and then tells me there is a connection error.
ive tried connecting through all 8 com ports all with the same issue.
some help would be appreciated

What is the serial number of the s200?

What software are you trying to use to datalog?

What software was it tuned with?

i just read up on s200 users guide:
slow flashing red light:
The problem lies with the Hondata interface box not being able to communicate with the ECU. Possible causes for this problem:
• Incorrect ROM used for the ECU.
• ROM inserted the wrong way around.

if this is the case how can i resolve the issue?
my best guess is to open the ecu and check the ROM?
some techie help would be awsome!

This system does not have datalogging.

If you want this tuned you will have to take it to a Hondata dealer that can tune an s200. You will not be able to make any changes yourself with this system.

I highly recommend just upgrading to the s300 instead as it will be cheaper, has more options and is easier to tune. Details can be found at http://www.hondata.com/s300upgradeform.html
