Issues locking FP to 09 TSX

Post by Jeremiah »

I attempted to lock my FP to my CU2 6 speed TSX today, and it throws an error.

The error is: 37805-rl5-a120.

The software states that there is an unknown calibration on the ecu currently, what is the correct path to take on this? I want to make sure that everything is acceptable before I take the car to the dyno so that it is not strapped down and then the ecu is not tunable.

Thank you for any assistance.

With the FLashPRo plugged into the OBD2 port and the key on with the USB cable connected, go to Help in FlashProManager and click on send support informtaion. Include a description of the problem.

That ECU should be supported. From help, about, what version of software are you using?

I uploaded the "support" information as requested, I did note my name, and that I have a forum thread, and I noted the car/tranny/year that we are talking about.

Please let me know what else I can do to assist with this.

The image below shows the version of code that my ecu has, and how it states "unknown binary"...

That was a fast response, and the issue was: I needed to install beta version of code for 09-10 tsx support.

It is now locked to my ecu, and I will setup a tuning appointment with the dyno shop next week. Soon we will have more than stock, stock, and supercharged maps available.

:)

Thank you,

Jeremiah

I also have an error trying to lock Flashpro to my 09 6mt TSX. I hope this ECU would be compatible as well.

Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time

It should have been supported; we'll test it next week and add it if it was not supported.

Here are your coices:

1) Take to an Acura dealer and see if they will upgrade the software first.
37805-RL5-A010 is the very first version of the software. Honda have updated the software since the release of the TSX to correct several problems:
Acura will install RL5-A040 which corrects the following problems: Knocking and pinging. Error codes P0339, P0302, P0303 which can happen when cranking with a low battery.
After the upgrade the FlashPro should lock and work.

2) Send ECU to us to test and upgrade.

I will try and get a dealer to update the ECU first.
Thank you for the prompt response.
