Derek, This Beta has major bugs!! I sent you an email as well but I figured I'd post this just in case. Here's the issue. I updated last night and tried flashing the ECU and when I did the program button was totally unresponsive as was the datalog button once I got the flash to take. Also when the flash was complete the ECT gauge did not illuminate afterward and the MIL turned on with U0122 and U0155 (I think) which are FCAN communication failures.
Edit: Never mind. I got your email a minute ago. Thanks Derek!!
The buttons are fixed but I'm still getting the Coolant gauge malfunction along with the MIL with those 2 codes. U012s is VSA to ECU communication failure and U0155 is ECU to gauges malfunction. Both are FCAN failures which is CAN BUS com failure. I only get it after a reflash and for some reason the ECT gauge is staying out until I key off the car and key it back on but the codes are hard codes and will not reset unless I physically clear them with either FP or my MODUS scanner.
Hey Derek, we have yet another car doing the same thing. U0155... Was fine on 1.1.8.5, and going to 1.1.9.1 broke his gauges, they don't work at all now. Error code in attached log...
Sucks, this is quite troublesome....
Maybe I should email you about this... but what would it take to get the gear selector working correctly in FlashPro when the gearing and final drive gets changed? Do you need a car to test on look at? My car is nearing completion, and the gearing is radically different from stock... I have done a few other cars with modified gearing, and there have been requests on properly working BBG and gear based comps. I had to do a 97% speedo correction for one guy with the 4.1 final drive and PPG 3/4 gearset....
Derek, love the new features in FPM. Been waiting patiently for those 2d graphs, they will be a huge help. A couple notes
1) when they make the calibration window have a scroll bar, the scroll wheel on the mouse doesn't appear to work to scroll the window down. It only scrolls the left part of the window. It's as if you're not allowing the right part of the window to take focus and thus inherit the command to scroll sent from the mouse.
2) any chance we'll be able to use the 2d graphs for editing? Click / drag like the main tables?
3) Under Calibration -> Throttle, it looks like Target Throttle Plate got renamed to TPlate Normal.... unless this is an indication that you're going to reveal more throttle plate functionality ;-)
1. The compiler I use doesn't support the mouse scroll wheel. Native windows components scroll but other controls do not.
2. I was wondering how long it would take for someone to ask that... possibly in the future.
3. For vehicles which have more than one throttle map.

2. I was wondering how long it would take for someone to ask that... possibly in the future. - Not a huge deal, just thought I'd see.
3. For vehicles which have more than one throttle map. - Word
