New launch control issue

Post by alexplicit »

Hi again. Think I've solved my last issue. Now a new one.

I have launch control working. But it will only work once . If I want to use it again I have to turn ignition off then back on.

Also is it normal for it to stay at launch limit (4200) for about 2 - 3 seconds then rev to limiter (9000)

UPDATE. !!!! When trying to connect to hondalogger, I had to raise the error limit, to ten... And it connects now. But it shows
Me no live information. Like revs, temp nothing?? It shows me my
Ecu information that's it.

You must determine if it was tuned with Romeditor 3 or Romeditor 4. This will determione what software you must use to datalog and how you must setup the launch control.

Have you tried datalogging with Romeditor 4? Romeditor 3 is no longer available as it has been discontinued.

When I try connect two error boxs come up list is out of bounds or something. Also when I connect with hondalogger, it connects but I had to raise the error limit to ten. And it shows 9 errors and shows no real time information

You will need to go to a Hondata dealer so they can use their dealer equipment to help you determine what it was tuned with and if need be help you make any changes to the calibraiton to enable the optsions you are trying to use.

not to sound unapreciative of your knowledge, but, i live extremely far away from any hondata dealership, is there any way that i can get a copy of rom editor 3 or any other things i can try?

perhaps the error lies in the amount of errors i have in hondalogger? i am willing to listen to any advice given. but i work a very lengthy and uncommon work hours. also closest people that i know that tune hondata is around 12 hours drive.

Your only other option is to contact whoever tuned the car last for some assistance with how it was tuned.
