2006 and 2007+ US Civic SI Calibration Differences?

Post by Barq »

Are there any differences between the calibrations for the years? I just noticed that VSA was not checked off for the 2006 calibrations.

Yes they are different. 06 does not have VSA.

Is that the only real difference? Because I was running an 06 map in my 07 and when I realized this and loaded the correct year the car drove a lot smoother ad my AFR seemed to be more stable at idle and at throttle tip in and throttle release. It also seems like the knock sensor is working more stable as well. Before it would show knock counts of ridiculous numbers and sometimes it showed none at all depending on whatever. Now the knock count seems to be working flawlessly. It could all just be in my head but I don't think so.

The calibrations are identical apart from VSA.
