RDX Injectors

Post by silverspoon1996 »

Can I just change in the settings the current injector size to 410, and then tune a/f?

pretty much, im sure there are gonna be things here and there that will need fine tuned after the change, mostly with the a/f and idle are my guess

how do you pull 10% at idle??? 410 x 90%= 369 stock is 370cc. is this correct?

So it will automatically adjust the tables or flow rate for the new injectors? Question, in the fuel tables it states volumetric efficiency. Is this for the engine? is it adding fuel based on this number? is this volumetric efficiency for the injectors? Just trying to understand this value and what it's doing.

Adjusting the fuel injector size or fuel trim does nothing to the tables.

1) change the injector size

2) adjust the overall fuel trim to get as close as possible to the correct AF ratio

3) fine tune using the tables

Ok. I sort of understand you but I'm going to ask further. When you set the previous injector size, and the new injector size, what does this do exactly? Is it just a reference?

So a very possible scenario, let's say my tune is setup for 520CC injectors (CT stage II) and I want to move to 650CC injectors. would I change the old Injector size to 520 (currently set at 310), and the new ( currently set at 520 ) to 650? Or, do I set the new at 650 leave the old at 310, and then adjust the overall fuel trim by 650/520=125%? or does it go back 520/650=80%?

or am I just WAY off all-together.

EDIT: Watching the videos, I think i'm getting it now.
