Hey guys, I just got my setup back together. F22b non Vtec. Just made the first pull. I have timing pretty low under boost, so I am just looking for feedback in regards to timing. Tuning to 7lbs for now.
I know that these ringlands are very weak but I have read if you have the timing under boost accurate these F22bs can make some decent power. I had the same setup before with bisimoto valve springs but I put them in by hand (sloppy installation) & I believe I bent some valves in #4 cylinder because it lost 50psi of compression compared to other 3 cylinders. Dipstick kept blowing out & it smoked bad under boost. Could also be the ringlands broke in #4. IT still ran (sounded like a Subaru) but when it blew I was only making barely 7 lbs which is weird it blew. I also was not too smart & had about 25 degrees of timing under boost 3-5lbs so I guess a combination of high timing & sloppy valve spring installation. I have yet to pull the head on that setup so not 100% sure on cause.
I just put a whole new JDM engine in. Anyway, I just want to have a conservative tune & wanted to hear some feedback on the first pull & the map I made.
I just pulled a lot of timing. It is hard to find good info or examples on what timing should be but I am street tuning & do not have access to a dyno so I guess that makes it more difficult as well.

Here is another pull I made today. About 13 degrees at 50% throttle (stock injectors) 4562RPM 6.8lbs 99% duty cycle lol.
Felt really clean & I did not see any smoke or smell anything burning lol.
Suggestions open please! Trying to get a grip of a conservative tune before I throw on my RC 750 & Walboro 255.
I would like to go on E85 but only 1 gas station around my area has it so I am not sure if I should switch or not. Currently on 93 Shell (hence why the timing is so conservative).

Fixed the fuel leak on injector #4. The top o-ring either got twisted & crimped during my installation or the o-ring was bad. It looked like a hot dog if you put it in a deep fryer lol.
58 degrees, night time..did some pulls.
About 6.2lbs with 13 degrees timing, 52% duty cycle, 5933 RPM, TPS 63%, 3rd gear
About 6.3lbs with 13 degrees timing, 49% duty cycle, 5547RPM, TPS 71%. 4th gear
Datalog: Calibration: Suggestions??
