Fooling the o2 heater control, 1k ohm accross what wires?

Post by Killa-X »

Okay, i've been reading a lot on this, and people are confusing things

Do you want a 1k ohm resistor accross the o2 heater control wire (which is pin A6 on an obd1 ecu) and the o2 12v switched (which is pin A25)?

OR

Do you want to have a 1k ohm resistor accross the o2 12v switched (pin A25) and the o2 ground (pin D22)?

I'm guess its the heater control wire and the 12v switched, because connecting the 12volt switched to the o2 ground would just ground out that 12volt source and most likely fry the ECU. BUT plxdevices said in their pdf to hook up to hondata, to run the 1k ohm between the 12+ heater and heater ground (2 black wires on the sensor side). So they got their colors and names mixed up.

And yes, I know you can just disable that in the s300, BUT if I ever run just a stock ECU I wanna know which 2 wires to hook up to the 1k ohm.

Sorry so long winded.
