Code 41: Oxygen Sensor Heater

Post by ecronic »

S300 Serial Number: 42771
SManager Version Number: 2.7.5.0
Calibration: Attached
Datalog: Unavailable
Vehicle: 1996 Honda Civic Del Sol VTEC, B16A6
ECU: P28
Modifications: Top Fuel Air Intake, Skunk2 Gen1 Intake, 4-2-1 PLM Headers, Tanabe Medallion exhaust.

Problem: My calibration has the O2 heater disabled but I still got the O2 heater error. The AEM UEGO gauge displays the AFR running rich and the AFR value on the S300 manager laptop isn't working. This calibration has worked perfectly and just a week ago it started giving error code 41. I've tried clearing the ECU and re-uploaded the map, disconnected ECU from the harness and reconnected.

Thank you for your input.

Please post a datalog using the calibration you have uploaded that shows when the error comes on.

Hi Spunkster - sorry for the delay, car was in garage. Please have a look at the datalog attached.

How are you uploading changes to the ECU?

I do the changes, save the map and keep the key in the ignition position and click on the upload arrow.

Is it taking all other changes you upload? For example if you set the rev limit to an artificially low 4300 RPM?

I haven't done such a test. But you think the s300 is accepting only some changes and not all?
Thanks & Regards

Please try this. There is no way it can take some changes and not others.

Hi, got a radiator pipe busted because of which the car is in the garage. I wanted to check with you, I use the x64 version for the sManager whenever I upload the map. Do you think that could be the reason for the s300 to not accept some changes? I've used it for the entire time of the tune and it worked perfectly. Except only when the time I made this post it had started giving this error.

Thanks for your time.
Thanks & Regards

This should not have anything to do with this.
