fuel level gauge
Re: fuel level gauge
You will have to try larger values and smaller values and see which one gives the desired result.

Re: fuel level gauge
ID1700x injectors:
-> Value 1587cc = 23L/100 km on the Dash
1. Did you drive the tank completely empty after making this change -> You have to drive the tank completely empty to get a usable value!
2. What was your actual consumption (calculated) ->
-> For example:
- Total distance with one tank filling -> 430 km
- Refilled amount of fuel -> 48 Liters
- Actual consumption (not BC) -> 11,16 Liter / 100 km
3. Compare the actual consumption with the indicated consumption in the BC.
4. If the displayed value in the BC is higher than the actual consumption, then you have to go down with the "cc value",
If the displayed value in BC is lower than the actual consumption, then you have to go up with the "cc value".
5. Start with 200 steps and find out with every refueling!
This is a very lengthy process, but I had also to go through this and it is not possible otherwise! ;-)
I hope this helps?

Re: fuel level gauge
Won't driving the tank completely empty risking of damaging my dual fuel pumps? That's my main concern
Re: fuel level gauge
No, you do not driving the tank completely empty!D33@+H-Kn1gH+ wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 1:26 am Won't driving the tank completely empty risking of damaging my dual fuel pumps? That's my main concern
You misunderstood me!
Drive the tank to 47-48 liters empty (50 liters fit in).
So that still 2-3 liters are in the tank.
That's enough for the calculation.
That's what I meant!

Re: fuel level gauge
Okay but how do I know when I will be at around 47-48 liters since the fuel gauge is wrong? Is there an average distance for that?R-12914 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 3:20 amNo, you do not driving the tank completely empty!D33@+H-Kn1gH+ wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 1:26 am Won't driving the tank completely empty risking of damaging my dual fuel pumps? Please post a picture of full Tank and one after 200 km driving (from the gauge).

Re: fuel level gauge
Hi,
I have recently bought an SC FN2 with hondata ecu managment. I also have the fuel gauge issue and range plus consumption usage not showing the proper information.
Can someone please instruct me what to do. I am going to discuss this with my tuner, so if there is a certain solution, i can tell him what to do.
@Hondata, can you help out with some instructions?

Re: fuel level gauge
Do not use the 'race' calibration. Simple as that. The regular calibration has more features and works better; the race calibration is kept for historical support.

Re: fuel level gauge
Thank you for your reply. I will tell my tuner about this. So the car will need a retune to take care of this issue?
