Best FK8 Civic Type R Hondata calibration for my setup?

Post by 997 »

Hey everyone,

I have been running my Type R for about 2000km now and have done some mods to it. I am a little confused as to which map I should upload, to get the best out of the Hondata "pre-set" maps. I totally understand I need to go see my tuner, to get best out of it, but I simply have no time as of right now. The dyno tuning will be done in the fall.

Here are my Mods:

2018 FK8 CTR

- Mishimoto intake
- PRL Intercooler (OEM charge pipes)
- Flashpro
- 94 Octane pump fuel (Quebec, Canada)

Next step after the upload, I shall do a datalog !

Let me know my options, thanks.

Choose a calibration that is for an intercooler and a downpipe for 93 octane.

You can try different ones to see which works best in your situation.

Thanks!

Also, I checked the EGT setting for decrease in Air change temps, did two back to back datalogs, and saw no difference in boost levels, nor boost commands. Did I miss something there?

I'm not sure without seeing calibrations and datalogs.
