KPRO V4 phantom CEL No Codes

Post by Juncura1 »

KPro Version 4
Vehicle: 2000 Honda S2000
Serial Number: 41538
Firmware Version: 12.00
Software Version: 4.4.1.0

Recently, I've been having a strange issue with the CEL being illuminated with no codes. The issue only occurs after driving the car until fully warm, shutting off and then starting again when warm.

Example: I start the car in the morning after sitting overnight and drive the car for 20-30min to the store. Park the car for 20-30min and then drive home... after about 5min into the drive home the CEL will illuminate with no codes. If I use the app on my phone, and hit the "Delete" button, the CEL will turn off. If I'm datalogging and erase DTC's the CEL will turn off.

I've attached my calibration as well as a short log while the CEL was on.

Try going to the online menu and then go to tools and then erase the ECU. When that finishes, close the program, reopen the program, load your calibration and then upload to the ECU and see if the problem persists.

Erasing the ECU did not help.

Is it running normally when the CEL is on?

It doesn't seem to be according to the logs, but it does "feel" a bit sluggish or down on power. However, the logs don't show any change so it could be in my head. Without renting dyno time I can't say for sure,

Can you try and Datalog before this happens and catch it actually come on in the middle of the Datalog and send that Datalog to us.
IF you know roughly when in the Datalog occurs, please let us know that timestamp.

Here is the datalog.

I started with a fresh calibration and was tuning the fuel tables when the event occurred. I marked the event by going WOT a second or two after the light came on.
