I've taken a stab at trying to tune my high/low fuel tables, as I noticed running the stock tuned basemap that I was running rich at WOT (around 10.5:1)
I've targeted 12.4, and adjusted for that. Is that correct or should I still tune for a little richer?
I haven't messed with cam angles or anything else as it's out of my depth.

Re: Tuning Air/Fuel Help 2009 Civic Si
You are using a hybrid calibration with AFM enabled, you need to tune the AFM sensor and not the WOT tables. Its a little bit more complicated to tune and takes more time, but it works just fine.
You could just mark the 'Use speed / density tables" under Calibration - Fuel and tune your engine using the MAP sensor only.

Thanks for the heads up, i'll take a look at tuning the AFM sensor then.
If tuning using the MAP sensor to tune the A/F mix, don't you lose accuracy in the fuel gauge, oil service reminders etc?

Re: Tuning Air/Fuel Help 2009 Civic Si
I believe that was with the old "Race Files" from before. You shouldn't have those issues with a standard basemap from Hondata. Hopefully someone can chime in for sure.
Re: Tuning Air/Fuel Help 2009 Civic Si
As long s y ou don't use the old race calibrations you will not have any issues.
Re: Tuning Air/Fuel Help 2009 Civic Si
Oh okay cool, I'm adjusting off the stock(Tuned) basemap. After enabling the MAP sensor, do I leave AFM enabled or disable it?
Re: Tuning Air/Fuel Help 2009 Civic Si
Disable AFM, then you want to check the "map to determine wot" box under closed loop if you haven't already.

Great, thank you for your help!
