remove fan switch? enable fan with set ect?

Post by lindseyhunt1090 »

hey guys. currently building a new wire harness for my 2000 Integra ( b18 ) just wondering, Hondata has the force rad fan on at a set temperature. the factory fan comes on with the thermal switch thats located on the thermostat housing. that's a mechanical switch. since Hondata has the force fan on at whatever ect you desire that means it doesn't use the thermal switch. so does this mean i can just ditch the thermal switch all together?

The thermal switch should still be used in case of failure as the ECU is just there as a backup or if you want the temp a little lower.
