2018 Honda FK8 datalog

Post by AC_FK8 »

Did a quick 3rd gear pull and was wondering if everything is running ok?

My set up is 2018 FK8
Mods

PRL intercooler
PRL charge pipes
PRL HVI intake
PRL Turbo inlet pipe
Invidia
AWE tuning Track edition Exhaust /w Front pipe
Hondata Flashpro

Running 93 octane with downpipe and intercooler, improved throttle response map

these are checked off

Remove factory boost limits
Disable secondary o2 for dp
Pump gas 0% ethanol
decrease Knock
Disable Rev hang
Sensor remove for P0101 & P0103 error (I have gotten a CEL error code P0101 before)
Improved throttle response full power 1st and 2nd gear
Traction control aggressive launch
increase turbocharger boost limit
increase turbocharger pressure ratio

Hondata traction control 6% and 6mph

Fuel pump duty cycle hits 95% at 26.5psi and looks like I have 2 degrees of knock retard?

No response? Wondering if I’m in the danger zone?

Don’t know if I’m reading the data log correctly but I noticed I hit 2 degrees of KR once WOT then it drops back to 0 degrees but once I reach closer to redline I can see sudden spikes of 3-4 degrees KR in some cylinders. I also have hasport rear engine mount. Can this cause false knock?

did another data log tonight. 1st, 2nd, 3rd gear pull showing 0 knock retard but when I do a solo 3rd gear pull I get KR spikes near redline. Could this be false knock?

I've never seen 'false knock' on the FK8. You're getting some knock retard on the top end. This is not unusual but pulling the ignition back about 2 degrees would fix it.

On you calibration disable the EGT air charge reduction.

And tweak the overall fuel trim to add 2-3% more fuel.

Should I reduce 2 degrees of ignition timing in Vtec intake cam - and exhaust cam + 6220rpm in the AirC range? I see it says 9.00 in that table range.

Also in calibration settings for fuel in the overall fuel trim it says 0% should I be changing it to 3%? Sorry I trying to learn how to tune the tables with Flashpro. I’m trying to self learn this. Thanks

Reduce the ignition 2 degrees above 5500 rpm on all the ignition tables.

Change the overall trim from 0 to 2%.
