Confirming ethanol and pump gas mixture

Post by ayau »

I plan to run the Hondata E25 cal on a completely stock 2020 FK8. I’ll be doing my own 93 and E85 mixture to hit E25.

Since I won’t have an ethanol content sensor in the fuel line, is there anything in the datalog I can review to gain comfort that I hit the proper E25 target?

Should I look at AF command and fuel trims? Obviously review for any major knock retards and fuel pump duty cycle as well.

For this you really should use an ethanol content sensor.

I would be mixing it in fuel containers and then measuring the ethanol content prior to pouring it into the car’s fuel tank.
