New 2018 CTR FlashPro + Cloned ECU Installed

Post by NavSubVetCTR »

New Hondata FlashPro install with new cloned ECU on 2018 CTR. Flashed to 93octane-st...impressive with no regrets. I want to leave FlashPro installed to support radio display (Honda Hacked). Two questions: (1) best routing path for wiring to prevent damage, since this cable is not replaceable...and (2) I read that it would discharge battery if left installed...is there a way to eliminate battery drain when car garaged, parked at work, or do I have to unplug the OBDII?

1. Up to you. I route over the steering column but then I tend to remove the FlashPro regularly.
2. The FlashPro goes into a sleep mode when the ignition is off. It will not appreciably drain the battery.
