p0140 error

Post by takumiwannabe »

I installed 2 weeks ago, and I had my ecu unlocked
Here is my setting in flashpro

Under close loop parameters,
I unchecked all of them except split injection enabled

Under modifications
BOOST (REMOVE FACTORY BOOST)
EXHAUST (DISABLE 2NDARY O2 SENSOR FOR DP)
FUEL (0% ETHANOL)
SENSOR (REMOVE P0101 & P0103 ERROR)
THROTTLE (IMPROVE RESPONSE)
TRACTION (TRACTION CONTROL AGGRESSIVE LAUNCH)
TURBO (INCREASED TURBO CHARGER BOOST LIMIT)
TURBO (INCREASED TURBO CHARGER PRESSURE RATIO)

After reflashing my ECU, I still get p0140, is there a fix for this?

Also, I need to reconnect my flashpro everytime before I start the car in order to let it connect with my Hondata Mobile app, so I can clear the cel through the APP, is this normal?

Thanks in advance!

What ECU do you have?

We added the P0141 to the last release for the FK2, so it might be worth updating your software and reflashing.

My car is a 2017 FK8
I just updated flashpro manager to the newest release 3.4.4 and reflashed the ECU, still getting a p0140 code...

Ok, let's start at the beginning then. What vehicle, what ECU and what calibration do you have? Posting the calibration here would help.

@Hondata, yesterday i purchased your FlashPro and Instant jailbreak, also installed PRL decatted downpipe. Uploaded the attached tune, while driving home CEL P0140 and p0136 came on, i disabled the 2nd O2 sensor from the mods settings and did not reinstalled the O2 sensor on the downpipe Since its been disabled. Should i have reinstalled it even though its disabled? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

If the so2 is not even plugged in then you will have to disable those error codes.

You should not get that error with a cat, so check the o2 sensor is plugged in and the wire are not broken.

Otherwise look under Misc DTCs in the calibration, but like I said you should not get that error.

Hi just installed a prl dp & AWE exhaust and am now throwing P0136 & P0140 even after I refreshed with the hondata update from Oct 3. I've unchecked all of the boxes in closed loop except split injection & the bottom codes for fuel enrich, any help would be great cause this is throwing a cel & rev match. Also I do have my secondary o2 installed still if that matters

How? When I reflashed my ecu I disabled my secondary o2 and have now unchecked every box in closed loop except split injections at the top and am still throwing codes, unsure what else to disable?
