bp actual not following bpcmd

Post by ergoodfellow »

Hello

I have a 2020 Sport Hatch 6mt with Hondata +6 tune and PRL CAI

I am having an issue where, when I put the throttle at 100%, my boost drops for about a second before building up.

This is very frusturating, it's almost like an awful turbo lag.

I have posted on a few other forums, and nobody has been able to help.

Datalog attached below

Thanks,
-Erik

You did not mention if you have made any recent changes to the vehicle or if there are any modifications, but either way you are running very very rich. It could be a boost leak. It could be the AFM not reading the air correctly. It could be something else. The waste-gate is almost closed to I would not drive under WOT until you fix this otherwise the turbo could overspeed.

Load the 'factory settings' file and make just the one change for the PRL intake. Check any bolt ons that you have installed - especially intake and interooler is that has been changed. Check all hoses for splits and leaks.

Thanks for the quick reply.

The only engine mod I have besides the tune is PRL street intake with stock maf. The street intake doesn’t require a tune. I am going to put the stock air box back in and see if the problem persists.

Thank you

I cleaned the MAF sensor with MAF cleaner, and drove around with the intake off. (all on stock ECU tune). Can you please look at this datalog file and see if there was any improvement? I am probably going to take the car to a mechanic in the next few days.

AF is a little better but the intake is still making it run about 10% rich.

It has to run 25% rich or lean for a certain time period for it to generate a code.
