Kpro4 Bluetooth

Post by Bmatt2020 »

Has anyone had the issue where the Hondata Complete App (also did it on the older Hondata Mobile App) would freeze and not display anything in real-time? Once it freezes, if tried resetting the bluetooth on my phone, and re-initializing the app connection but it doesn't come back. The only way to get it to come back online would be to turn the car off for a bit and restart it.

Where is your ECU located? What lid is being used on the ECU?

Ecu is located in the factory RSX location using the factory ecu lid.

Try removing the lid and see if that helps.

Are you thinking it’s blocking the signal or causing it to overheat? Have you heard of this happening before?

I've removed the cover from the ECU and I'm still having the same problem. After it froze, I left the app open and it eventually came back online after about 10 minutes of driving. I've tried it 3 times with the cover removed. Any other suggestions?

If it is reconnecting on it's own, it sounds like it could be the device it is connecting to that is the issue. Have you tried a different device?

I tried my iPad this morning and I get the same result. It doesn't show that its disconnecting bluetooth wise, it just seems like the bluetooth data just freezes. If I restart the app on both devices, its able to connect, but it just shows the same frozen data.

Are you using resistor or non-resistor spark plugs?

I just noticed today when data logging, it froze again. Both Bluetooth and laptop connected. This was after the 4.4.4 update.
