Okay, this will be the last one before we blend everything out. This will be the 40* cam. It will be sluggish on the part throttle driving, all we really need is like a 10 minute datalog. Just be sure to get the clean third gear WOT pull, that's all we need really is that third gear pull. I just want to see how much of the 40* cam angle it wants in vtec. So a quick 10 minute run, and then the next file will be your first glimpse at the final product where it should be strong all over.

Okay. The cam angle map and everything is blended out. Take it for a spin and see how it runs. Still make your datalogs like you have been, be sure to get at least one WOT pull in third gear. Other than that, you can have some fun with it and see how it feels and drive it however you want. Vtec looks happiest at 4800. We could go a little lower if you want, but I would be concerned about a bog issue. We can always try it down the road.

One thing to keep in mind, your intake temps have been pretty warm in all datalogs. That will hinder performance a bit in the hot months. The cooler months it should be a little better. Making it an actual CAI would help a lot, or switching to the Acuity or Skunk 2 would help a lot with that.

Anyways, give it a run and see what you think. It might still take a couple revisions to get all the fuel dialed and address any knock that might show up. But this will be pretty close to the overall feel.

Overall it looked pretty good. Take this one for a drive, be sure to get a clean third gear pull in there from 2500-7500 so I can work on the WOT fueling. You came up short on your only third gear run. I moved vtec to 4300, I see why it fell off on the other version with it at 4800, so it should pull better on this one. Not like you make 2500-7500 pulls in real life, but still. Haha

That one looked like a better pull. Made a couple fuel adjustments and ignition changes for the knock we saw. We're 99% there, just touching up things now. Here is the next one. Should pull a little better in the midrange with the fuel cleaned up for the new vtec rpm at 4300.

Looking good. The intake temps were really hot at a few points, peaking at 147* at one point and they were 130* on the WOT pull. Not sure how hot ambient temperature is today where you are, but this will really hurt performance, so just keep that in mind. At 147* part throttle and 130* WOT, our only real hope is to keep it knock free and keep the fueling good. Performance though will suffer some.

Here is the next one. I made a couple adjustments for the temperature compensations as that seemed to be the only thing that really changed. Take it for a spin when you can and we'll see how it looks.

Alright, we might be there. That one looked really good. I made a couple small adjustments, nothing major. The compensation changes from the last revision helped it a lot. The intake temps were still warm, but nothing you can do really with the short ram. We just have to make the best of it. When you get to the cooler months, it will really wake up.

Do you have their short ram that goes back towards the back of the engine, or the one that goes forward behind the headlight?

Here is the next one, we'll see how it looks. We might be there!
