Target lambda and fuel trims

Post by schaffertnathan »

Where does the ECU get the "suggested change in fuel" from? Before, I was going by the suggested fuel change from the fuel maps. It was saying everything was good with only around 1-2% in most places. However, the short and long term fuel trims were about -8 to -10%. So I took away about -8% fuel across the board. Now, the fuel trims are good, but the Suggested Fuel Change is showing to add about 8% fuel across the board. Any ideas why the Suggested Change and Actual Fuel Trims would be different from each other?

You can set the lambda overlay settings to anything you want (options, settings, lambda overlay).

Going off of what the short term trim is telling you will be most accurate.
