Wideband sensor input-2014 US R18z1 MT

After planning over a year, I have finally installed a Rotrex c30-74 on my coupe r18z1. My wideband is currently running standalone, but I would love to be able to use the data/inputs through Hondata.

Which ECU pin, or other location, can I wire the wideband input signal?

You can use either of the 2 listed inputs located on the Lambda section of the calibration window. This can be used for datalogging only and cannot be used to run closed loop. The OEM sensor must be retained for this.

I planned on datalogging wideband for boost only.

Where can I splice the wire in on the factory harness for Hondata to receive wideband input? Is there anything special about R18z1?

A34 - ELD
A46 - ECT2

You should not splice the wires. You need to cut them so they no longer go to the original locations.

You have provided me incorrect information. A34 is not associated with ELD input in the Hondata software. I wired my wideband input to A34, and my electric fan kicked on with ign power. I changed settings in flashpro to receive 2nd coolant temp sensor instead of ELD and the problem was solved.

HONDATA information on the website page is also incorrect. The 12-15 r18 civic models as using A34 pin as ELD input for wideband is listed. My vehicle worked with A34 as 2nd coolant temp input.

Since nobody from Hondata replied, I am reviving this topic.

I am tired of the low temp thermostat code throwing a check light.

As I mentioned above, I followed the instructions from Spunkster and the Hondata website, and found that the 2014 r18 mt US model civic is behaving differently with the wideband input. Both ELD and 2nd Clt sensor are unchecked in flashpro. I have been logging my wideband via the ECU pin for the ELD ( as hondata and Spunkster Advised) . However, the only way the voltage readings show via Hondata is when I choose to receive wb signal through the 2nd Clt input. I have both ELD and 2nd CLT turned off. I mainly have a problem with my check light appearing again, and I know my thermostat is oprating optimally.

I need some support

We've double checked with the Honda diagrams and A34 = ELD, A44 = ECT2 for all 2012-2015 R18Z1s. So we need to narrow down where the problems is:
1. Can you post a photo of where you have wiring in the wideband into the ECU connector? The terminal numbers on the outside of the connector are reversed from the pin numbers and can be misleading.
2. What connection do you have currently? ie ECT2 or ELD? Can you post a calibration with the current setting you are using?
3. The next steps depend on the answer from #2.

1.) Attached is the rear side of my connector. I have not unraveled the tape again yet, but I have the wire going to pin location A34 based on the numbering order as shown from the rear.

I used the numbers on the back of the connector to determine A34. If Honda flipped them around they are insane.

Are you saying that the numbers on the back of the connector are shown as backwards?

2) Ill post this one later once I grab my laptop.

Well, Honda got the number right from 1-10, but the rest is not right.

A34 = orange, middle row, 3rd from top.
A44 = green, 4th row, 6th from top (little to the left of the dot I put in the photo).
