AEM Wideband into FPM values

Post by 08si »

Hello,

I am wanting to use my AEM Wideband (30-4100) for datalogging via FP. I will be using the A44 ECT2 Pin out as my ELD will be used for your TC system.

Can you please confirm what if any values I would have to input into Voltage cells and Lambda (:1) cells?

http://www.aemelectronics.com/Images/Pr ... 0-4100.pdf

Also, I have just received my TC pins from you - I noticed there are two sets. If I use one set for my TC install can I use the other for my AEM Wideband without having to request these again?

Thank you

You must use the conversion chart on page 5 of the instructions from AEM.

Yes you can use those pins.

Thanks!

So just so I am clear. Would I input the following?

0V / 4.99V
Lamda (:1)10 / 19.98

Wideband votlage input as ECT2? I intend to use ECT2/ pin A44

and disable ECT2 under MISC settings?

Another question came to mind and I couldn't find an answer.

When reviewing a datalog with the WB hooked up to the ECU, which value or sensor will depict the data it has recorded in FPM? Will it replace the current AFR or AFR corrected values?

AF in the sensor window will show the aftermarket wideband data.

Thanks, so no need to use the AF corrected anymore right?

Thanks, is there a way I can still monitor what the primary o2 is doing for comparison?

Sorry, the aftermarket wideband will be displayed as Wide in the sensor list and the oem wideband will still be displayed as AF.

So I am having an issue with the displayed sensor data for the Wideband. It pretty much just stays at or within a couple tenths of 10.50..this is with the primary o2 all over the map. Any idea on what would cause this?

Use a multimeter to check the voltage coming from the AEM analog output.
