I have the TC setup on my 06 S2000, with 255/40s all around. I am looking to go to a set of 275/40 in the rear. Is there a step by step on how to recalibrate the TC to work with this new tire combo? I searched the help section, but I couldn't find what I was looking for. Thanks in advance for your help.

Tire Change TC settings
Re: Tire Change TC settings
You will need to enter the tire information and determine the number of pulses per mile in your traction control calibration in the traction control window.
Re: Tire Change TC settings
hey, thanks for the quick reply!
How do I get that info, and what window do I need to be in? Is it in the flash pro manager?
At what point to I have to hold my speed and hit calc?

Re: Tire Change TC settings
I believe you called and resolved your questions.
Re: Tire Change TC settings
yes I did.
Thanks for your help.
Just to capture the info for others:
Looks like the S2000 sends 50 pulses per revolution. And the tires I am going to run are 807 Revolutions per mile per the manufacturer.
807*50= 40,350 pulses per mile
I will plug the traction control into the lap top and open up the TC manager software.
In settings, I will input [40,350 pulses per mile] for the rear wheels (only ones that I am changing) which should be real close.
Then take the car on a straight road at 40mph and hit calc on the setting screen to let it fine tune.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Tire Change TC settings
One more detail that I had read on another thread.
does the Traction control knob have to be set to off for this process?

Re: Tire Change TC settings
No, it does not, but depending on settings it may keep it from retarding any timing while setting it.
