hey I am having a hard time to get the tc to work. the tc calibration I will put in the numbers for the default settings off of the tc help page and it will automatically change the settings I put into it. so I test drove the car and tc is not working. I don't know if im doing anything wrong

Re: 04 tsx
You need to post the FlashPro calibration as well as a datalog with showing the issue.
Re: 04 tsx
ok sorry when I calibrate the wheel speed setup I do it at 40mph and then do the wheel input all the wheel speed inputs are the same and I don't thing that is right because I have two different size tires on the car the front are a 225-40-18 and the rear tires are a 215-40-18 I would think the front and the rear speed input would be the same. when I drive the car the vss can be reading 60mph and the TC is reading 19mph and the rear are reading a little less then the front. I did all the test and they pass so im thinking its a bad TC unit.

Re: 04 tsx
'keith tc 2.tcc' has strange slip numbers; I'd start off with 'keith traction control 1.tcc'.
- Set the front and rear axle speed determinations to 'average of speeds'.
- Set the wheel speed inputs to 15000 pulses per mile
- Set the cornering speed calculation based on a TSX
Then drive the car and change the rear wheel speed input number (both left and right) until your TC.Slip is as close to 0 as possible when driving at a steady speed.

ok I have it working but its cant kill all the wheel slip with the timing I pull out

Re: 04 tsx
Wheels speeds are still about 1.5% out. When at a steady speed speed the slip should be 0% Left front reads a little low.
For the slip, next try setting the front axle speed determination to 'fastest wheel'. Then we'd need to look at the TC calibration and FP calibrations.
I'm assuming the vehicle has an open diff.

Re: 04 tsx
With a LSD use 'average of speeds'.
The wheel speeds look good. The slip at cruise is ok (under 1%).
Next I would increase the FlashPro ignition retard table. Perhaps use 0,10,15,20,20,20 as the retard rather than 0,5,10,13,15,20.
Also the TC smoothing might be too much (1000, 250 or 500 might be better). Try the extra retard first.

Re: 04 tsx
ok the frist log is with TC at what you told me its pulled all the timing it can its like it dose not see the slip fast enough to stop it right when it starts.
the next to log are with my boost by gear on it helps a lot but I was trying to get the TC working better before I had to use it

Re: 04 tsx
Change the launch compensation to 0 for all the values. That is used more for drag racing and should only be used for full racing slicks on a track surface.
Re: 04 tsx
Will that help with it not being able to stop the wheel spin. I will be bringing it to the drag strip soon. but I know with a tires when it start to spin it is very hard to stop it
