Hi
Could you help me out i need a wiring diagram for hall effect speed sensors, in the help there is a diagram for inductive and active sensors but not for hall sensors. Also do I need to use some sort of pull up resistor?
Thanks

Re: speed sensor
That sensor is 3 wire - power, ground and signal.
- ground connect to the same ground as the traction control unit.
- power is 4.5V to 24V, so you can power it from from the same power source (12V) as the traction control unit.
- signal connect to the positive side of the wheel input
The sensor has a 40mA output which is a current sink. That means that you need to use a pull up resistor between the sensor power and sensor signal. The resistor should be somewhere between 370 ohms and 10k - I would use a 2k 1/8W resistor to start with, and then go to lower values if you start to get noise on the signal.

Thanks
Will let you know how it goes.

Ecu colour connections
Hi
Can you assist me a little further for cable colours for the ECU for terminating the traction control please:-
traction control cables are :-
L+ (red)
- (black)
ELD (orange)
ECU is :-
(E connector) 15 ELD - (?)
(A connector) 3 IGP1 - (?)
(A connector) 5 PG1 - (?)
I am fairly certain i could figure it out but would be nice to know exactly what the actual colours i am connecting to on the Kpro A-conector and E-connector
Cheers

Re: speed sensor
Do not go by wire color at the ECU, go by pin position as it is most accurate way of doing it.

Re: speed sensor
cheers, i think i have sorted it, basically i have no pin in the eld 15 for my plug. It is part of a hybrid racing adapter, any ideas where i can get a pin from in short notice?
Re: speed sensor
You might try Xenocron Tuning, as I believe they sell individual pins.
