EU Manual CR-Z 2010 lambda failure

Post by alollini »

Hello,
I see regular P1157 code error, and it is impossible to have a lambda reading.

It starts by giving good information at engine start, but soon it indicate overly lean condition and drop into error + P1157 + orange "check engine" light is on.

I don't understand why/how but the engine seems to work perfect when the orange "check engine" light is on.

Is there a way to datalog or visualize the value of the secondary oxygen sensor ? maybe it relies on that to make good A/F ? or maybe it reads only the inputs IAT, MAF, MAP, throttle position ?

Outside of a Honda dealership, where can I get a reliable new Lambda meter ?

I had to put a new one because of a failed header threads destroying the threads on my oem lambda.
The new one is faulty, was expensive, they won't replace it to me. (in France it is eur 710 to get a Honda labelled one)

I wish to use a compatible oxygen sensor for primary lambda, have you any advice ? a good reputable seller ?

I would only recommend using an OEM sensor as aftermarket sensors are not as reliable or accurate.
