vtec window

Post by angelf1974 »

My car has a vtec window from 3800 to 5000 rpm. If vtec is activated and I close throttle completely (always inside this window) after a little time vtec is deactivated.
I would like that vtec deactivation not depend on MAP inside window, I would like that it only depend of lower window value.

I apologize for my English

The logic Honda uses in the ECU does not allow this. There is a delay so that whilst shifting it should stay in VTEC.

Shifting is not the problem, engine still in vtec. Problem is when I close throttle due to deceleration.

Maybe I need to make the window smaller. Or happens the same outside window (upper side)? I didn´t test it.
