Rev Hang

Post by cYn »

I was wondering if the base map for the TSX (TSX-07-2-Tuned) is already calibrated to remove rev hang. I flashed that base map today and I think I'm still experiencing some rev hang. Could you confirm that the base map actually removed, or even reduced, rev hang? Thank you.

The current settings are 30 30 30 30 30

The Civic Si's settings are 60 50 40 30 30

Should I set it to the Civic Si's setting?

No, reduce the values in 'Overrun fuel cut delay', not increase. eg Try 0,0,0,0,0,0 then 10,10,10,10,10,10 and 20,20,20,20,20,20 and see which works the best.

I truly apologize if I sounded a bit dumb when I asked about the Civic's setting. It's just I read some report that they don't experience rev hang so I tried to mimic a bit of their calibrations.

Also, the Overrun Fuel Cut delay doesn't go down to 0. The lowest it will go is 10. Is that just the way it's implemented or is it a bug?

Yes, 10 is as low as it will go.

I also notice something different. In the TSX calibration, there's only 5 gear columns. The TSX is a 6 speed. Is it even supposed to be like that?

Cause I notice that when you suggested me to change the Overrun values, you gave me 6 inputs. But the calibration only allows 5.
