Sync light doesnt turn on anymore

Post by pincheenrique »

Ive been running the COP kit for 6 years with zero issues. suddenly I have no sync light or spark going to the ignition coils. the power light works and the red ignition light flashes when I am cranking the engine. One thing i have tried is replace the distributor since the internals smelled like burnt electrical.
Thanks in advance!

from the help file: http://www.hondata.com/help/cpr/troubleshooting.htm

4. Crank the engine for approx 2 seconds. Does the SYNC (yellow) light flash at 1/4 the rate of the IGN light? Yes - go to the next item. No - check the SYNC output is enabled in SManager and check the SYNC wire from the Coil Pack Retrofit to the ECU is connected to the correct pin in the ECU connector.

Have you checked continuity of the wire from the ECU to the CPR?
