RPM Index Grayed Out

Post by kid2550 »

Hondata Flash Pro Manager 3.6.5.0
Car - 2008 Honda Civic Type R (FD2 - Japanese)

I am trying to tune my high cam fuel tables but I can’t edit my RPM index. I right click and the new window opens showing the option but I am unable to click on it as it’s grayed out. Is there a way to get pass this? I am trying to optimize the best fueling for high cam.

I can’t do this under my ign as well.

I can though edit my RPM index under my high speed cam angle tables.

Thank you

I’m just following up if anyone knows about this. I went into a 2006 si and it wasn’t grayed out. Is there a rule for civics located in Asia or something?

You can't edit the table indexes for all vehicles.

Is it because how Honda has it set up on the ECU or could there be a future update that will change this? Just curious.

It is the way Honda did it. This will not able to be changed.

If an index is shared between multiple tables then to change the index you have to run through each table and re-scale it.

I was watching Evans Performance and when I got to high fuel tuning, I ran into that issue. You really lose a lot of the rpm band in the tables to tune high cam. Hopefully one day, maybe you’ll find a way.

On the upside, flash pro, Kmanager, s300, are all awesome to use. Awesome software!
