Datalog download/save as doesn't work occasionally.

Hi everyone,

I've noticed this a few times on my flashpro (2019 CTR).

When trying to view, download, or save a datalog that is still on the flashpro, the progress bar goes and then no file is ever saved or brought up on the graphs. If I keep trying, eventually I can see the flashpro manager not able to view my flashpro, and I can see a the lights flashing a bunch on the device itself. After that, the flashpro manager becomes unresponsive until I unplug/plug my flashpro or force close the software.

Is there some procedural thing I'm doing wrong that is causing the file to corrupt, causing this behaviour? It isn't for every file. If I have datalog0000 that is "corrupt" i could have 0001 002 and they are viewable/saveable just fine.

How large are these files that do not work?

Hi Spunkster,

The files are usually only around 6MB-10MB from my sessions. I haven't been able to reproduce the issue at will.

Side note.. today after plugging the flashpro back in to just delete the "broken" calibration, my flashpro seemed to have unregistered itself? I had to re-register on the manager.

Flashpro has been sitting on my desk for a day, and did not get plugged back into my car at all for 24h+.

If there is any other information needed, please let me know! Worried it might lead to something else.

Try deleting all saved datalogs from the FlashPro and see if that helps with the issue.

It's happened a few times, and I've also removed all logs stored on the flashpro device itself. One problematic log doesn't cause the other or subsequent logs to do the same, it's quite strange.

Sorry I should clarify.

It's already happened a few times where one log out of let's say, 10 would be bad. A sample case would be where I had 10 logs saved, but log 7 was impossible to retrieve causing the flashpro manager to freeze even though I could see the progress bar fully complete. I would still be able to capture datalogs after, but I've just been trying to make it a habit to clear the stored logs after I grab all of them now.

With everything plugged in and the ignition in the on position, go to the Help menu and click on “send feedback”. Include a detailed description of the issue.

I assume you mean plugged in with laptop and plugged into the OBD2 like I were to begin an upload.

When was the last time your computer was restarted?

I try pulling logs on both my laptop and my desktop. Nothing to do with uptime, but to answer your question my computers never runs for more than half a day
