Flashpro fail help

Post by Julianobelluardo »

I received my flashpro today and downloaded the latest software for my computer and the flashpro. I plugged it into my car and it said my ECU was already jailbroken.(which is not true I just bought the car brand new a week ago) so I tried uploading a base map ( like an idiot) and of course it failed because my ECU is not really jailbroken. Now I can’t start my car I’ve tried flashing it back to stock a million times it won’t do anything’s. My ca just shows all the errors and check engine lights. Please help... anybody

Go to the online menu and click on return to stock. After about 6 minutes it should finish. After it has been returned to stock you should be able to purchase the jailbreak and do it properly.

Unplug the FlashPro from both the vehicle and the laptop, plug it back in and then try return to stock.

If return to stock does not work then tell us exactly here it went wrong and any error messages.

Do not disconnect the battery - it will make things worse.

Okay so it will let me start it now. However, it still has every warning light on imaginable. Also it still says my ECU is jailbroken so it will not let me purchase the jailbreak. How should I proceed ?

Do not do anything yet, wait for Hondata to give you further instructions.

The warning lights will go away if you drive a little way.

I have the same issue. I did not jailbreak before I connected Hondata. I didn’t realize the ECU needed to be sent in. The flash did not work obviously. Now the car won’t start. I’ve tried flashing back to factor about a dozen times. Fails every time with “Failure information: Code 0x04 Step 16 Addreess 0x200000
Explanation : the ECU stopped responding while ref lashing. Check OBDII connector pins.”

What do I need to do now?
