FlashProManager v2.4.9 Beta

Post by Hondata »

There are several new features in FlashProManager v2.4.6 which are in testing for the 2006-2011 Civic Si, 2007+ FN2, 2006+ FD2 and 2012-2015 Civic Si

1. Adjustable launch control
The launch rpm can be adjusted with the cruise control buttons. The conditions for this is cruise control main switch off, vehicle stopped, clutch depressed. The 'Resume' button increases the launch rpm by 100 rpm per press, and the 'Set' button decreases the launch rpm by 100 rpm per press. The 'Cancel' button will show you the current launch rpm (on the tachometer). In the calibration, the 'Launch rpm (adjustable)' rpm value sets the initial launch rpm. If you change the launch rpm using the cruise control buttons, this value is remembered until you reflash the ECU or disconnect the battery.

2. Full throttle shift
Full throttle shift activates at high rpm when the throttle is wide open or almost wide open, and the clutch is depressed. This is designed for use with a shift point of 7000 rpm or more and full throttle.

3. Reflash tachometer progress indicator
When reflashing the tachometer will move from 0 - 8000 rpm to show the reflash progress.

4. Cruise control lambda display.
The tachometer can display the current lambda. The conditions for this is cruise control main switch off, clutch not depressed, 'Set' button. The rev counter needle will show air fuel ratio x 1000 - 10000. eg 14.7:1 = 4700 rpm, 13.2:1 = 3200 rpm
This is useful to get an instant reading of the air fuel ratio if you do not have a lambda display or a laptop connected and datalogging.

To download use 'Check for Updates' from FlashProManager Help Menu.

Changes for 2.4.6:
  • Added new features to the FN2, FD2 and 2012-2015 Civic Si
  • Prevent launch limiter from activating below 2000 rpm

You're not going to ask for this on the 2013 Si?

Can you share what models you think will have these same features in the near future?

I have an issue where these features show up on the calibration window only when i pull up one of those tunes flashpro has available but when i open my custom e85 tune for my kraftwerks set up none of these features show up.

What is it that i have to do to my custom tune without altering it to have these things show up.

Your custom tune is a "race" calibration and is no longer supported. You will need to redo the tune using one of the "RRB" starting calibrations.

We've completed the support for the FN2 and FD2 (not all the launch options were present in 2.4.5), and added the features to the 2012-2015 Civic Si.

As pepperdanky points out, the 'Race' calibrations do not have the new features.

Some people have reported a early rev limit or no start situation, and we'll trouble shoot those cases before anything else.

First of all: I use a hybrid calibration on my FN2!

1. Adjustable launch control on FN2:
This works on FN2!

2. Full throttle shift:
This do not work on FN2!

3. Reflash tachometer progress indicator:
This do not work on FN2!

4. Cruise control lambda display:
This works on FN2, but to display the lambda value, it is necessary to push the "set-button" of cruise control!

Can i just copy and paste the values of my custom tune on the new file or do i need a retune?
