- FlashPro SN.: FP-SI-INT-21298
- FlashPro Manager version : 1.2.8.0
- Vehicle : Honda Civic Type R FN2 euro
- ECU: 37820-RSP-E02
- Problem:
I have flashed the Civic Typer R EURO with flashpro Group N and I have noticed a malfunction in the fuel gauge. When the gasoline is low and the fuel-alert lights, if I supply with less than 10 liters the fuel gauge doesn't reset the status and still indicates the previous liters amount and the Km left, and fuel-alert lights. It happens even if I return to stock the ECU with flashpro.
Before using the flashpro with the ECU original (virgin), it didn't happen.
Thanks, best regards.
Fuel Gauge issue ?

Re: Fuel Gauge issue ?
No, I have only one ecu, the stock now reflashed with flashpro.
When the ecu was virgin: no problem with the fuel gauge.
After reflash with flashpro : problem with the fuel gauge.
After return to stock with flashpro : issue persists.
Thanks

Re: Fuel Gauge issue ?
It should not be a problem once you return to stock. Can you upgrade the newest version (1.3.3 later today), and test with return to stock for at least one full tank of fuel?

Not yet, I'll do in the next days. Thanks
Re: Fuel Gauge issue ?
This is due to the shape of the fuel tank in the FN2, you need more than 10 litres put in for it to register on the fuel gauge. The issue is nothing to do with Flashpro.
The fuel tank is under the front seats and is wide and flat. The fuel gauge sender only moves 3 inches from top to bottom and so is not that accurate. This means to get it to move, so it will register, you need to fill up with more
