Hi

Customer asked if Honda dealership can reflash the ECU with new revision ROM when the ECU is locked with FlashPro.
Is the ECU locked the programming when locked? or Dealership can still program over that?
If dealer can program, will FlashPro still recognize the ECU is the same car which is locked to?

Let me know

There is nothing to be gained by allowing the Honda dealer to reflash the ECU.

so it's locked?

Customer is worrying about honda dealer refuse service or void warranty because of modified ECU.
If it is locked and honda dealer cannot reflash over it, dealer may aware of it.
In this case he might need to unlock and return to original while bringing car to dealer.

Let me know

If it is a problem then flash the ECU back to stock before going to the dealer.

Firstly I live in the UK and I have an FN2, so whether this applies to other models or countries I do not know but...

A while back a dealer said they updated my ECU software to my horror however after my intial panic it appeared my custom Flashpro cal was fine.

On another occasion a Honda Master Tech was unable to work out if my ECU had been changed by plugging in, it did however become evident when VTEC kicked in 1000RPM earlier lol
