If your economy gauge is incorrect then change the 'injector size for fuel economy' setting.

Try different settings in the 'output type' to see if the rev meter will works (I suggest 0, 1 or 2). Otherwise, what rpm does each light come on at?
HONDATA do you know what injector size for fuel economy is for ID 725CC???
IF i remember this REV light comes from 7000 rpms but im not shure

So i have test this new version on my CTR FN2.

The fuel gauge is working.
AVG Fuel is working after a Reset and show me 12.7L/100km
The instantaneous consumption (sorry, google traduction, i dont know how to tell that in english) is working.

Only the km to gas station is not working.

I have test the Output type 1 and 2.

I will test the Output type 0.

Thanks for this update !!!!

So what output type is working for you? What injectors do you have?

On the ID website, they said 715cc/min

These injectors are 715 @ 43.5psi base pressure, but with the 54psi stock fuel pressure it is higher.

mw1978, I think it is 881cc/min (I dont think it is linear)

I didn't know the stock pressure is 54psi.

We can make like this : 715/43.5 = 16.43678161 => 16.43678161 * 54 = 888cc/min

Thats correct if its linear, however I dont think it is linear.

Hondata,

I have found another problem with the firmware.

1)start datalogging before the car is started, the orange light blinks as it should
2)then when you start the car the logging stops , its like the Flashpro resets or something.

Can you fix this please.

I was in the process of sorting out my cars cranking with its 725cc injectors

thanks

Ashley

Ashley I had the same problem with previous FPM. You should record this cranking direct to laptop. This type of datalog is OK for only cranking data

It is not a firmware problem - this is because the battery voltage is dropping too much when cranking.

Just adding my experience with the MAP calibrations for FN2, I'm currently getting a re-tune done now and have switched over to MAP with this latest Beta, so far my AVG fuel consumption appears to be okay (believable at least), my current fuel consumption bar is working (before it used to be in the 20+ range, now it moves back and forth according to throttle input so this appears to be okay) and as mentioned previously by other members my distance to empty estimate is off, before it used to drop fast from whatever the last value was till it reached 0km left, now it bounces back and forth so something defiantly is working or is buggy to say the least.

Above all though, a huge thanks to Hondata to putting the efforts into making this progress for us FN2 owners. I've always wanted to run a MAP tune but wasn't prepared to sacrifice a working fuel gauge at the very minimum so now that this Beta has given us a fighting chance to have a fully functional & feature full MAP calibration option we can really extract the goods from the FN2 :)

mw1978 - 881cc/min and 888cc/min arent working.

I dont know what should go in this option then for our ID 725cc injectors, Vitviper doesnt know either.

I can only assume its not affecting the average mpg as it should or we are all misunderstanding something, maybe Hondata could clarify?

It will be interesting to see if this will work on an FN2 with a SI ecu.
