" [Civic R] Fixed knock retard increasing to maximum retard. "

Can I clarify if this applies to FD2R using RRC1 and RRC2 calibration tables?

Is this question so difficult to answer or I am plain stupid to be asking a question like this?

I'm not sure what you mean by 'RRC1' and 'RRC2' calibration tables, but the change applies to the Euro Civic Type R.

I mean the last 2 calibration on this list:

(is it the end of the road for FD2r owners?)

The Asia Civic Type R never had the knock problem - only the Euro Civic Type R.

in that case, is there any chance that the remaining compensation tables n knock tables in the above said calibrations be revealed so tuning could be more comprehensive? we would like to tune based on the stock equalivent n reflash calibration. or isit impossible to do so in those calibration? we can't tune effectively without the comp n all the knock tables. thanks.

We do have inconsistent knocking on the Asia Civic Type R. If that is not a knock problem, then what are the problems causing this behaviour?

thank you very much hondata.... finally there is something to look forward to for the fd2 honda civic type R owners.. hopefully this could help us tap into certain parameters of the jdm ecu to solve the inconsistant pinging and excess retard on our rides.
